Perthshire Businesswomen’s Network (PBN) has issued a call for local female business leaders to lean in, as it steps up its search for fresh committee members ahead of its Annual General Meeting in May 2020.
With a number of the current committee members due to step down in May, the businesswomen’s network is hopeful that a new generation of female business leaders will be ready to take up the mantle and lead the network in this new decade.
Perthshire Businesswomen’s Network (PBN) is one of the area’s leading business groups. Established in 1997, this not-for-profit organisation is committed to supporting and advancing career women, entrepreneurs, academics and those in industry.
Jane Rennie current President of Perthshire Businesswomen’s Network, commented:
“PBN has been absolutely invaluable to me for creating new connections when I first moved to Perth and it’s been a great honour to serve as the President for the last three years. However we have a number of long serving members of the committee who are due to step down this May and it’s important that we look to the future of the organisation. We’re really keen to widen the net and encourage a cross section of female business leaders to get involved and take PBN to the next stage in its third decade of evolution.”
