Claire McFarlane and her husband Duncan own and run the Grampian hotel. After carrying out a massive refurbishment in 2007 they re-opened the hotel. Ten years on the hotel is a popular wedding venue with Claire doing all wedding and event co-ordination. She loves nothing more than helping couples at each stage of their journey from the initial event booking through to the big day. When not doing weddings, the hotel holds lots of special events in the function suite. The hotel has 12 en-suite rooms, Castles Restaurant and bar offers hearty home cooked meals made from Scottish produce cooked to order in an informal setting. It is open for evening meals and has become renowned locally for its high teas.

Great job Claire. You and Duncan have worked really hard to make a success of your business. Having eaten there on several occasions, I know the food is excellent, but have yet to spend a night in the hotel. Hopefully you can find a room for me the next time I come home to Scotland. Great central location for easy access to all of my family and friends.
