Our guest speaker is Judy Thomson, a part-time cook and former events manager, who is now fundraising for two Perth-based foundations after volunteering with one of the charities in Kenya at the end of last year.
Set up by Stagecoach co-founder Ann Gloag, the Balcraig Foundation supports a wide variety of projects in the UK and Africa, particularly in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Malawi and Liberia and Judy’s role is to attract new supporters and initiate unique fundraising projects.
