| PBN first visited Jamesfield Farm in 2006 and our return this month takes the form of a joint meeting with “Women Ahead”, the Dundee club associated to the ASB. Owners & brothers,Roy & Ian Miller, decided in 1985 to demonstrate that a sustainable farming system was possible and Jamesfield is clear demonstration of their confidence in organic farming.
The restaurant, "Tasty” is run by two award-winning chefs, Craig Mellor and Darin Campbell. Craig’s CV includes working at the Three Chimneys on Skye, service on luxury cruise ships and with the Royal Family. Darin is a former head chef, both with Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles and at Ballachulish House.
The guest speaker is Douglas Ritchie from Perth Cittaslow project. Cittaslow is an international network of over 100 European towns where good food, local produce and traditional production methods are at the heart of ensuring the highest possible quality of life for local residents and visitors alike. Perth became Scotland’s first Cittaslow town in March 2007.
